Published Oct 14, 2019

October 14, 2019 – Los Angeles – The United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) is excited to announce Royal Palms Soccer Club as a new member kicking off with the 2020 Spring Season.

Based in Palm Coast (Fla.), Royal Palms Soccer Club will begin UPSL play in the Southeast Conference Florida Central Division, and is finalizing its home venue in compliance with UPSL's National Standards.

United Premier Soccer League Florida Division Manager Christian Vallejos said, "We're pleased to welcome Royal Palms Soccer Club to the UPSL Florida Central Division. Royal Palms SC has taken on the challenge of bringing the next level of soccer to Palm Coast, and is set up for success in a mostly untapped soccer-rich environment. The club is working on bringing bigger things to Palm Coast, and the UPSL is excited to a part of that. We wish Royal Palms SC the best as it prepares for the 2020 Spring Season ahead."

Mario Dos Santos is co-Owner and General Manager of Royal Palms SC. Born in Connecticut, Dos Santos works in the Central Florida banking industry and holds a U.S. Soccer 'Grassroots' coaching certificate. He is an Assistant Soccer Coach at Flagler Palm Coast (Fla.) High School.

Royal Palms Soccer Club General Manager Mario Dos Santos said, "We feel it's time to bring the next level of soccer to Palm Coast, and the UPSL is the best option to get to the next level we need to get to. There has been a ton of talent pass through Palm Coast – Eddie Johnson himself grew up here – and since then we've had players who could give him a run for his money but haven't had the platform to get there. We're trying to give those players a place to show their skills and give them a bigger stage."

George Pereira is co-Owner and Media and Marketing Director for Royal Palms SC. A native of Mount Vernon (N.Y.), Perreira is a career media professional utilizing his expertise to help build the club.

Kenny Real and Jason Jose serve as Team Media for Royal Palms SC. Together, they co-host 'The Royal Palms Podcast', a club-dedicated production.

Royal Palms SC will hosts tryouts at Indian Trail Sports Complex (5455 Belle Terre Pkwy, Palm Coast, FL 32137) on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 23 & 24. Go to rpsctrials.eventbrite.com for full details.

The club will soon announce its upcoming game schedule.
